He's still on PUP, until he's taken off PUP. Being medically cleared, I thought, just let the team know he's ready, but that they have time to make the decision. All of the articles from this morning still say "When" he's activated from PUP.........

I assumed he was taken off PUP. He can stay on PUP until Week 1. If he is still on PUP for Week 1, he misses 4 weeks. He can't practice when on PUP.

If he is ready to go, it makes sense to take him off.

Agreed...I'm sure it's just a formality. I don't see anything in the PUP rules, though, that the team has to take a player off PUP, just because they are medically cleared. He's counting against the 90 man anyway, so it's not like a roster spot has to be cleared.

IIRC - Ertz partially tore his ACL and tore his MCL. I am guessing that partially torn ACL recovers faster?

Kyler is much younger and people recover at different rates.

It may be more, it may be less. But I'd lean towards less.

I think Kyler comes off PUP before week 1 or he has to sit out 4 weeks.

It's been pretty crazy how low the Cards official media have been on McBride. Apparently he's been injured almost all of camp with a "mystery" injury (that's not me -- that's Cards Underground).

I'm happy to be McBride's Arizona Dad, but the vibes on that kid right now are sub-Big Mo.

Also: Keim is trash. Ertz has the FIFTH HIGHEST cap number in 2023 among tight ends.

Kind of a weird market; T.J. Hockenson's fifth-year option is the next-highest. Hard to believe that Keim was bidding against anyone but himself on either Ertz or James Conner in 2022.
