They got rid of that stupid idea of having the player introduce their team. Good move on their part.

Jaws is awesome. I think he is very good in the booth with a lot of insight. Also doesn't "have that know it" that Theisman had. Man that guy gets annoying fast. MNF is watchable again.

BTW as a sidenote does anyone know if Gumbal is still calling games on NFL Network.

yeah, I'm so glad theesman is gone....although I enjoyed Kornheiser poking fun at him last year

now all they have to do is get rid of Madden on SNF

Not so fast on the whole player introduction thing. I think once the regular season starts that will start up again. IIRC, the same thing happened last year...no players introducing themselves during preseason then once the season started, the stupidity ensued.

Jaws is great. He really does alot of prep work in everything he does with football.

Not much better, they still have Kornholer...terrible announcer. Jaws is...eh..ok. Why do they need 3 people in there? Get rid of Tony and I'd be ok with what they have

I really enjoyed the awkwardness of Joe Theisman and Tony trying to get along and failing

Mike Patrick, Joe Theisman, and Paul McGuire were still the best team ever from ESPN

I am waiting for Fox to put forth the broadcast team of Pat Summerall and Frank Caliendo (as John Madden).

I love Jaws. He breaks down the game so well. Yes, he has an inherent QB and Philly bias, but at least he talks about the teams instead of himself.

Jaws is awesome.

he talks about the science of football --

on a long pass for a td, most color guys just talk about how the CB got burned

Jaws points out the Cb was expecting Safety help, but the safety bit on a post by the TE

Um, most color guys say "Look at this. Watch this.". Yeah, I'm looking at you Theesman.
