Larry King not happy

http://www.azcentral.com/story/spor...n-diamondbacks-zack-greinke-dodgers/77093550/

National talk-show host Larry King can’t believe what he’s seeing as the rival Arizona Diamondbacks steal the winter headlines — and the Dodgers’ Cy Young Award runner-up.

“I can’t stand what we’re doing,” King told USA TODAY Sports. “Those people in the Dodger front office, they think they’re still in Tampa. This is Los Angeles. We’re in the second-largest market in the country. We lead baseball in home and road attendance. And we haven’t won a World Series since 1988.

We are not Tampa, but they’re acting like it. They have all of this money — and nothing. We’ve got to do something.”

Watching that press confernece was painful. Can't wait to see him pitch on opening day. Don't care if I ever hear him interviewed again.

He's not being interviewed or speaking to the public on the mound. He can obviously block everything out.
I usually don't even watch these press conferences. When players sign big deals like this it is expected that they do this but I hate it. He's an incredible pitcher. Who cares if he's a lousy interview. RJ was a horrible interview too. That worked oit OK.

Oh, I agree. He didn't get $206M because of his social skills, dude is one of the best pitchers in baseball.

I think we can all agree on this.

That article had a link to a video and afterward they said that Ken Kendricks said that the 60Million deferred they will owe to Grinke is 10% of what they owed after 2001.

Are they being serious or is that hyperbole? We owed 600 MILLION in deferred salary? To who? I mean I know we had Schilling and Randy and Gonzo and a bunch of high paid veterans but 600 MILLION????
