Sign Smith or Bradford and draft QBOF at #15.

You're not him, so that's totally different. I like the idea of signing a bridge QB and trying our best to draft a guy at #15. But if Keenum is worth firing Keim over, I need to know what magical idea @AZCB34 has.

Shurmur will not only bring a Keenum, but I hearing now he wants Ken Dorsey as his OC. BTW QB Finley is going back to school.

It's not as simple as that, the team would need to sign the guy too

Wow - Shurmur had bad run in Cleveland, but then I looked and saw he had McCoy as the starter his first season, Weeden (rookie) the starter the second - guy didn't stand a chance.

Really like the Dorsey thing. He spent the last 5 years babysitting Cam Newton and teaching him to be an acceptable NFL QB. Shurmur will still be the "OC" but Dorsey might be able to make Gabbert and the new guy drafted, NFL ready QBs.

He wasn't mediocre. You can complain about his health but he was in no way mediocre. In 2016 he completed over 70% of his passes & 65% in 2015.

During the Saints game yesterday they mentioned that Drew Brees had like 4 or the top 5 years with the highest completion percentage for a QB. The other QB in there was Bradford's 2016 season. Hard to call that mediocre.

If Keim beings in Keenum and drafts Jackson, he should be fired before he can contaminate day 2 of the draft.

This is why I like this board, if you told me Pat Shurmur, Case Keenum, and Lamar Jackson ?

Sign me up for that, I would be 100% behind it.

But, that is just one opinion, and one as we can see that is very much disagreed with.

Hello First Round WR draft pick!!!

:sarcasm:

:sarcasm: below but would this surprise anyone?

"Cardinals brass secretly traveled to American Samoa Community College in Samoa Islands to scout a walk on Kicker who never missed a kick for their divsional IX football team. The player was previously a DE before moving to new position as a kicker"

Gabbert stinks no matter who is coaching. I don’t want Smith or Bradford and would take Keenum over those two but he went to Houston which is not exactly a QB factory.

Hello First Round WR draft pick!!!

:sarcasm:
all the WR's I like can be had in the second and third rounds...

Would it surprise anyone if we drafted a center? or another guard with that first round pick?
Both Price from OSU and Nelson from ND are expected to go right around 15

after Larry retires we dont have a jump ball WR on the team... Both Simmie Cobbs Jr of Indiana and Arden Tate of Florida state are over 6'4" and in the 4.4 range with athletic hops

either one would be a good addition to the team and playing for a season or two with Larry cant hurt

of the shorter WR's I like Parris Campbell... only 6'1" but he is 210 lbs so he is a solid dude..whereas Calvin Ridley from Bama is only 185 lbs at the same height

I kinda feel like if it isn't QB, it'll be a guard. I am with you. I hope it isn't a WR, but it would not shock me if the bright and shiny object attract's Keim's gaze.

Trade the first and draft multiple second and third round guys to help the new coaching staff. Keim has been decent outside first round.
