IF AND WHEN HEALTHY...
Blok Has Shown Nothing, Atleast Now The Team Will Get A Qb Who Will Stay In The Pocket And Will Remain Calm Under Pressure. But Knowing Whis He'll Insert Bartell.

Maybe we should all just pitch in for a "Start Skelton" billboard... that seems to have worked out well.
Backup QB is always the most popular guy on a bad team. Nevermind the guy has been hurt and hasn't been able to practice at all for most of the season. If the current coaching staff had interest in developing Skelton long-term, they wouldn't have invested so heavily in Kolb.

With same OT's pass blocking... it is worth a try especially if Mr. Checkdown is gimpy.I find it odd that those who say Kolb needs more time have already given up any hope for Skelton. Now I am not saying Skelton is the answer but for a rookie from Fordham he actually showed me something last year.

do you think the current coaching staff is able to evaluate talents and take the right decision????
I wasn't trying to suggest that they aren't a big part of the problem -- just that the calls for Skelton are unrealistic.

I would add we are running the ball better this year than last. This may help Skelton some.
You don't hand a 2nd round pick and 54 million to give up on him after 7 games.
Not a chance.
Bartel > Skelton in preseason and camp. Why Skelton?
He moved ahead of him a couple of weeks ago for whatever reason.
My guess is Whiz saw Bartel against Minn and realize he's just not that good. He had 1 pick and could have easily had 2 more, he just doesn't seem to get throwing into coverage is a bad idea usually.
Skelton is at least more safe with the ball
