That's because the public stills sees the Packers as the Packers of old and Vegas knows that. Can't say the without a doubt they will lose Sunday, but I think their season ends this week, IMHO.

The only issue I would advise caution on is picking an experienced team over a rookie playoff team....err,...vice versa.....

teams like the steelers , the hags and the Pack just know how to win in the playoffs...from the head coach down to the ballboy they know how to prepare...while teams like cincy and the vikes just do not have that experience.....I would only pick the "new" playoff contender if they are overwhelmingly better across the board....it would also seem that certain teams "nostalgia" factor gets them an extra benefit of the doubt from most officiating crews.

Agreed. Washington may blow them out.

Again, why all the Deadskin love? They're not that good. They beat no one the entire season and when they did play someone they lost. They played in a horrible division to boot.

I believe Washington opened as a small favorite but the early money has come in on Green Bay. Wouldn't be shocked to see that move back in the other direction the closer to game time.

+1.

Washington is getting '08 Cardinal respect right now, and they are going to surprise people.

We are probably going to end up playing them a week from Saturday, and that game has a chance to be a tight one. I think we can beat them, but it will not be as easy as everyone seems to think.

If they win and we end up playing them, the only way it's a tight game is if we come out flat. I'm talking Steelers game flat, or 4th preseason game flat. No way that happens with this team and coaching staff. Washington playing at home as underdogs, playing a really unimpressive Packers team, and playing on that trash field, I can see them winning. No way they come here and not have 40+ hung on them.

How can it be , a team that is 4 and 6 over it's last 10 games is favored on the road ? Some pundits just can't let go of those Packers .
because the Packers are a proven playoff team going against a team that barely got in... and the QB

That's what I say. Around here Washington is getting way too much love. I hope they get creamed.

Have you watched the Packer OL lately. They are horrible.

All four road teams win, but Vikings and Bengals cover (according to spreads posted at beginning of thread)

Yeah, the Steelers going for 2 and missing cost me $50.
