Seattle is going to miss the playoffs
Seattles patchwork Oline just got patchier since Ifredi went down with a high ankle sprain yesterday.
This is almost like an experiment. Finding out how important an oline really is. If Seattle makes the playoffs with this Oline, then the rest of the NFL will forever stop investing in the Oline since it wont be necessary for success.

I'll be amazed. They will have to win 10 or less to miss the playoffs. Even at 10 they might get in.
Rawls isnt even starting right now, Christine Michael got the nod and is pushing him for his job. Ill still find it surprising if they miss the playoffs, the first 4 weeks will give us a good sample to revisit.Marshawn, even though he played sparingly last year, really covered up alot of the glaring holes on their O-Line. We all know what their D can do.
Seattle's success will ride on their running game. Can Rawls be an effective replacement, FULL-TIME for Lynch?

I think Seattle will be fine. It worked for them last year. They went from the worst offense in football to the best offense in football at the end.
Besides the Cardinals crumbling in the playoffs, this was easily the most aggravating part of last season. How they could throw a bunch of DL players together and call it an OL, then torch everybody with it. Definitely aggravating. Probably because it was so fun to watch them flounder at the beginning of the season.
I think they get away with it because it doesn't take an all pro line to run block - as long as you're physical and have good backs. Pass blocking is a challenge. But when you have a super mobile QB like Wilson, I guess it doesn't matter. At least for them it doesn't.
So yeah, I have the Seahawks winning the division and the Cardinals as the wild card. And I'm fine with that because I think that's what they need to stay focused enough to make it to the Super Bowl. The way the Cardinals have problems handling success, if they win the division and have a bye, I think they self destruct again.
Seriously, who cares? Predictions mean nothing.
Discuss, yes, but many people get too wrapped up in them.I dont think anyone actually "cares" but many do enjoy discussing them.
Jesus...who pissed in your fruit loops??Discuss, yes, but many people get too wrapped up in them.
Okay?Discuss, yes, but many people get too wrapped up in them.
thats a big part of why I like to look at them, it is interesting to see where we land. that is all. It is simply a discussion topic like top ten lists and etc.I'm both with Big Red Rage and NJCardfan.
Yes, predictions are fun to discuss. No, they don't mean diddly. They're only what some fan or writer thinks.
Only thing that counts is what the Cards do on the field (whether it's exceeding expectations vs. GB or laying an egg vs. Carolina).
(Note: There are a few older writers who remember the "bad old days" and will never show the Cardinals any love. Their biases are written in history and part of their DNA).
