Hey all,

Just finished posting up azsportshub.com's Exclusive interview with Chris Henry, NFL Draft Prospect and former Arizona Wildcats...You can find it here:

http://azsportshub.com/nfl-draft-prospect-and-former-wildcat-chris-henry-talks-about-his-future/

Enjoy...

Nice interview. I still can't believe Henry is going to go in the top three rounds. Chris was benched in favor of a walkon last year. He has size, speed and strength but I don't see picking him so high is worth it. He would make a nice late pick. I wish him the best. Maybe he can do what Mike Bell did last year.

Chris Henry intrigues me. Wish I had seen more UA games. Somebody will take a chance on him on the 2nd day of the draft.

I wouldn't be shocked if he snuck into the 3rd round. That kind of intrigue will cause someone to bite.

My hunch is that he is going to go not only go fairly early on, but also depending upon the choice make a major impact like Mike Bell. Bell's situation in Denver also helped a bunch, but Chris is a guy who played very well once the passing game got going, and that is huge.

Henry will make a better pro then Bell. Bell was in the right situation to be OK, but he wasn't great in Denver. Henry has all the physical tools to be a very good RB at the next level (now whether or not he will develop those tools into being a good back remains to be seen).

He had all the physical tools to be good at the last level and wasn't. He is a workout warrior that's it.

Exactly. Plus, it's not like he struggled at program stacked with RB's. He couldn't do crap at UA who was in dire need of a ground game. The combine is the only reason he's being talked about

True, he never put it together but he did show flashes. Hell, Mike Bell was never anything special, the starter and feature back for all those years and never cracked 1,000 yards.

For Henry, I'm going to say that last year's Cat's offensive line was terrible (which it was), and the offensive play-calling left a lot to be desired (which it did).

I'm not saying Henry will be a star. I am saying he has a much better chance of being one then Mike Bell.

Sadly, I have to agree with Greeny here...Play calling was horrible...on top of that the O-line was young and got pushed around most of the season. Go back and look at Henry's stats. He picked it up late in the year when the Cats entire offense got going.

I am not saying we are talking pro-bowl running back, but Henry's production in college COULD have been a direct result of the entire offense itself. At the very least he's making himself some decent cash.

Comparing Mike Bell and Chris Henry's careers at UofA isn't fair to Bell. Bell had 3 seasons at 900+ yards with at least 5 touchdowns. Guess how many Chris Henry had? None as a matter of fact Mike Bell's lowest 900 yard sesason, (935yds) was better than Henry's entire career at the UofA (918yds). Mike Bell at least was a serviceable starting RB on a horrible team. Chris Henry was a less than mediocre running back on a 6-6 team his final year. If the argument is that the cats were terrible last year go back and look at the teams Mike Bell played on and he showed actual flashes on the football field unlike Henry who has only shown it in the weight room and in workouts.

Sometimes talent is hidden behind poor team scheme, help and support. I'd take Chris Henry as a 5th or 6th rounder.

I would agree he's worth a 5th or 6th rounder based on athletic ability but people are talking 3rd or 4th and I think that would be a huge stretch.

A majority of people are considering him a 2nd round pick now (there's an article in todays AZ Republic about it). He's worth a flier in the 5th-7th rounds but a day one pick? Give me a break

What a waste of a pick!

A second round pick on a guy that couldn't break 600 rushing yards in a season, and he only has 7 starts in a bad football program in 3 seasons spending most of his career backing up Bell, who wasn't drafted at all last year...WOW!

Hey, Brian Bozworth(sp?) put up some awesome combine numbers also, maybe he's ready to come out of retirement? Do Bozz and Henry have a few things in common...

Wasted pick.

Fisher said they are very high on Henry they could of picked him in the first round. It's a big gamble to take him that high. I hope the best for Chris. He is a good person and he is graduating on time this semester.
