While the Cards will still have at least 2 tough teams on their remaining schedule, the Cards have a chance to take a major step towards the Super Bowl tonight. For several years the Rams have owned the Cards. In their earlier meeting the Cards flipped the script. Now they have a chance to prove that result was no fluke. It’s also a chance for Kingsbury to prove he can outcoach McVay. The Cards should win. The Rams have struggled against quality teams. The Cards should get back more good players. The Cards will have the best personnel. If the Cards play up to their ability (something they’ve failed to do in a couple of games) they should dominate the Rams. Few factors late in the year are as important as momentum. The Cards are simply the best team in the league. All that needs to happen for success is that the Cards believe in themselves. Few things strengthen that belief as much as beating a perennial nemesis. This is the right time and the right place for the Cards to demonstrate who they are. If the Cards can avoid early mistakes, like turnovers, I expect them to prove they are the best team in the NFL. Time to leave the Rams in the dust.
