This post isnt meant to dwell on the inevitable
However there are a number of contracts expiring that will have to be prioritized by Keim and staff
in order of importance ( imo )
1. Conner -- hardest one, so dangerous to lock up RB long term. Would love another 1 yr deal.
2. Golden Hoping for a modest 3 yr deal and draft Jones replacement
3. McCoy Showed how important the backup job to Kyler is. Stepped up big
4. Ertz not sure how much the cards want to commit to an aging TE but he has show flashes at times in the red zone of still possessing elite talent
5. Jones probably outta here, had a great run with cardinals
6. Maxx emerged as a nice blocking TE and bailout option for K!, would like another modest 2 yr deal
7. Kirk Someone will pony up the bucks for him.
8. Pugh? Not sure if he is a FA
9. Hicks I have a strong feeling we are extracting the last bit of good out of him. Still cant cover but is still playing at an above average level. His replacement was drafted.
AJ Green. Meh, he can come back for another 1 yr deal
