Ticket sales and butts in seats are not the same thing. The Jets have sold out every season for decades, but there have been plenty of seasons and games played with just a few thousand in attendance. Here is an article about Atlanta from 2012.

5 hotdogs
2 french fries
3 waters
1 soda
1 beer
1 cotton candy
1 dipping dots
3 mini-bags of High-Chews

Total spent: $121!

When we went to the Eagles/Cards game in Philly in 2015, it was terribly cold so we were buying hot chocolate...$6 a pop. Must have spent $100 on that alone.

Great idea and marketing ploy. Too bad or me that I don't live there and wouldn't eat the junk food. $5 stadium beer is a deal.
