We are almost done, and we have until the 27th.

We will be sitting around for a week anyway.

34.4 is a pretty good opening weekend for sure. I just wonder how well it will sustain its audience.

In all seriousness, my hope is that Flushed Away and SC3 take each other out. Either way Saw and Borat should both be in the top 4, albeit probably 3 and 4.

You all are going down to Chinatown.

Friday
1. Borat - $9.05M
2. Santa Clause 3 - $5.2M
3. Saw III - $5.2M
4. Flushed Away $4.6M

You have to figure 2 and 4 will get better numbers on Saturday.

I really empty my clips here in the early weeks. I think all my films open before Dec 1.

Borat was definately a "sleeper." I thought it would be sorta big...but not BIG big. What round did you take that in?

I took Borat at 2.3 and in my notes, I had it making near the projection of $63M. It is at $67M now and should add another $15M+ in the next few weeks.

I think the biggest suprises so far would have to be Stranger Than Fiction ($93M projected, only $14M in opening weekend) and SCIII ($126M proj., $41M through two weeks).

I am wondering if Casino Royale and Night at the Museum will meet a similar fates.

I have three more films opening in the next 10 days (Pick of Destiny and Fast Food Nation this Friday) and Let's Go to Prison next Wednesday. They will probably cannibalize each other terribly.

I'm getting concerned that I haven't heard much pub for this one yet.

I saw the trailer and thought it looked horrible. Ben Stiller has jumped the shark. Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt. :hammer:

I am still pretty happy with my studio. I think Beyonce and Jamie Fox might come through for me with Dreamgirls and lead me to victory.
