It would be a lot more like Russia if a particular political party had a few more judges in its pocket. But since this isn't the forum for politics I better leave it at that. Except to say, thank the gods for our judicial system. It has saved our rear ends over the last couple years.

History. This franchise has never had a high functioning front office and the latest example we have of promoting a top internal candidate was Keim. It is more likely that he promoted people who mirrored his beliefs and philosophies than it is a person rose withiin while also disagreeing with Keim.

Agreed. You have successors in an organization for when it is so successful that the leader rides off into the sunset, not when it failed so miserably that the head of the snake got the axe.
