Feely is gone. They tried to replace him coming into this season. He was ok on field goals for the most part. Leg just too weak on kickoffs. Just one part of special teams that needs improvement.

Unless your name is Mendenhall. Why he kept trotting him out there when he drops the rock so often is beyond me. Maybe he has pictures or something.

this is one of the only thing that's bothered me about Arians this year. continually trotting out a guy who's averaging 3.1 ypc, who's doesn't protect the rock and continually getting him more touches then Ellington just didn't make sense all year.

In his defense it was clear as day that one of them was the holders fault who failed to get the laces out. It's the same reason the 49er kickers missed his sort FG.

No, the 49ers kicker missed because we have the most amazing FG defense in the history of the NFL.

The incredible Cardinals "3 and out" defense.

:D

Cardinals will go younger and cheaper at kicker IMO. That is one area where BASK can improve and still spend less salary cap money. They'll probably spend a draft choice on a young college kicking stud who can serve the franchise reliably for the next 10-12 years. {See what the Ravens and Rams have done the last couple of years.}

I agree. Yesterday he was dancing at the line and instead of running through the hole he ran into the guard and looked like he was trying to climb on his back. All that dancing at the line of scrimmage just drives me nuts.

I agree. This should be a no brainer. What are there, 50-75 kickers a year coming out of college? Seems like it would be an easy position to fill.
