I do not think coaching matters, the holder matters, the long snapper matters, and at this point the kicker matters.
Since Neil Rackers record season with the Cardinals has there been ANY kicker that has not been an abysmal failure ?
If I recall correctly, didn't Chandler Catanzaro have a sold season for us? Regardless, I would love to see how our FG% matches with the league.
Then I would love to see what the Cardinals FG% from 40 yards are closer is, in comparison to the rest of the league.
I would then make the claim, I think in the relative setting that is "clutch kicking", that the Cardinals are under 50% when in the situation of a clutch field goal.
That claim sounds like hyperbole to me, and I wrote it. But, I would not be surprised. This has gone from frustrating, to depression, to shocking, to unbelievable.
