Is there anybody on the staff that you could reasonably believe would do a better job than Mac?

If not, then we need to let Mac "take one for the team" and ride this mother out until the end of the season. Then we can send the players home, wait until the reporters go away, and make the transition (if they do decide to make a move) in an orderly, dignified fashion.

The problem I have with that is that just like the players are not held accountable, it shows that the coaches are not either.

We need to send a message to the team that losing is not acceptable.

As far as who to put in there, I might have said Chryst or Gilbraith, but after looking at, there is not one coach, other than Kuhlman, with HC experience at any level.

However, I still think we should suck it up and fire his sorry ass. Go ahead and put whoever you want in there, they couldn't do any worse.

This was the same sort of loss that cost Vince Tobin his job

Well, the former Bungles knocked off the Chiefs today. You see what a total coaching staff change did there.Hopefully,Graves( if he's still around) noticed that.As for mid -season change in coaching,i say bring in Jack Mckeon.Look what he did mid-season for the Marlins.

I don't think firing Mac now will do anything. Its another example of good assistant coach failing as HC wutg the Cardinals. We have had a few. We need somone with head Coaching experience. Dennis Green, Tom Coughlin. We need a name HC that can generate interest going and rebuild a football team going in to the new stadium.

I like Mac, but this team came out utterly unprepared today, no motivation period.

Looked like they all partied late last night, and had hangovers or something.

Pitiful...just pitiful. And I actually picked them to win this game at the pool at work...thought they'd at least make it interesting.

just curious . . . do you like mac as a human being or as our head coach? seems he gets so much positive press that i'm now wondering if everyone still thinks he's "the greatest" . . .

what makes you say that? even when he was the d coordinator the d was never very good.

How much is enough? Good grief we get blown out more than any other team in the league. Fire McGinnis hire defensive assistant/quality control/special teams assistant Stan Kwan as interim coach. Hell he would fill the requirement of a minority candidate. We can assess the head coach and assistant coaches after the season. For all we know Kwan could be the man!

YEAH, hire STAN KWAN!!! he and i won a state championship in pop warner football with the chargers back in the day! we also got through one hell of a fight in tijuana with a bunch of brophy boys one summer . . .

I'm a huge fan of coach Mac. This team showed promise after the Bye week and I thought it had finally turned the corner. However after watching this team regress the last couple of games I believe it is now time for a change. I have never seen a team play as sloppy or look as unprepared as I did today.

I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff.
