Two weeks ago everything was brilliant. Lose two games and now he needs to be fired and get somebody to "teach" him how to coach.

Win Sunday and all of the sudden he's a lot better coach. Stay the course. Win 3 in a row, then it will be "OMG, what if we lose him?" Takes all over the place.

Many were still saying Petzing was trash even during the wins including me. His scheme and adjustments leave much to be desired.

The set and personnel are still the same.

Why would anyone think this is an actual solution?

Please be serious.
Well...while the personnel can't change once they line up...the set certainly can...couple audible and a bit of motion can turn base 12 into 12 4 wide empty backfield

Motion????

No such thing in a Petzing offense.

All of this is masking that Petzing is learning on the job as an OC. Rallis is also but at least he has JG there to teach him. Petzing unfortunately doesn’t hence why the crappy sets, lack of adjustments, and the struggle scheming guys open.

I definitely recall seeing motion in the last game. Not a ton, but it was in there.

Fire Petzing

I called a screen play to JC but K1 saw 1on1 coverage on the outside with our 1st round WR who is underutilized in my offense and got the touchdown instead of 6 yards.

Fans mentioned about bringing the fired Bears coach as a defense advisor. Why not bring in an offensive coach to teach Drew
Who the heck???? Rallis is doing just fine for the most part. I wouldn't want Eberflus within shouting distance of the Cards facility.

I never gave him brilliant. Competently efficient is more like it. For all the good he's done, there still was meat left on the bone too many times for my tastes. I try not to be so over reactionary, but these last two weeks have been pretty frustrating.

Yeah, I know. Not everyone here was loving him. But what little talk we got nationally was giving him a lot of props.

I am lukewarm on him myself. The main thing I don't like is he has really struggled with short yardage calls on 3rd and 4th downs. It seems like the defense always knows exactly what we are going to do.

I don't think Gannon has the balls to fire him. It's gonna be up to us to start praising Drew all over social media in the hopes that some dumb team hires him to be HC...haha

Exactly. Besides Kyler, the offense sputtered because the offensive line turned into a bunch of used car salesmen that kinda want to play football. Petzing was fine today.
McBride didn’t get the ball till the 2nd half and Seattle looked like they knew our plays better than us.

Petzing is a clown and ultimately will cost JG his job if he’s kept.

Rallis is doing great with limited resources, Petzing is a great run coordinator but not ready to be an NFL OC (not many his age are). Gannon is a good coach, and I like the talent Monty is accumulating with an emphasis on the draft. We really do have our QB and coach... need an OC who is more well-rounded passing in my humble opinion

:biglaugh:

I mean, we can't even call our QB *********** because he chokes on the big one.
