The Payphone Man
Ok, bought it. Good deal at Costco it was only like $14 compared to the $25 I thought it'd be.
So far it's pretty damn intresting. Even though 1/2 of it is made up or over exagerrated greatly.
I'm at about page 75. So not even close to being done. It's some 200 pages.
But I found it odd the Mark Grace was mentioned in the book. I skimmed it and saw his name. It was regarding the fact that players have one night stands, etc. No steroids for Gracey.
Then another intresting part so far is Jose vs. his dad, the conflict.
It's the most exagerrated part of the book, from what it seems. He says how his dad would yell at him for not being good enough... Someone is having Michael Jackson issues from what it seems.
Then Cansecos research on steroids, if true is pretty extensive.
Just wondering has anyone else read or gotten the book?
