Lomax to Green 84
Hall of Famer
Throw in Kyle Vandenbosch at about 264 (his playing weight from last season) and we probably would have the smallest front 7 in the NFL. Does that matter? Probably not much, but don't the Cards run more of a read and react type of 2 gap defense, and doesn't that typically require some beef in the front 7? Maybe they will scrap the 2 gap and play a more attacking style of defense.
I still have bad dreams of those horrific 5 man fronts we had to play a few years back to mask our undersized defensive ends (Rice and Wadsworth). The scary thing is that Wadsworth at Left End was bigger than Vandenbosch and Rice (even though he sucked at playing the run) was bigger and a hell of a lot faster than Suggs.
Suggs fans here is just another chance to vent your frustrations on some dumba## out of stater. The Chicago media is having some fun with Suggs and those pedestrian times. If the fans in Chicago have anything to say about the draft then we can fell pretty damn comfortable that Suggs will not be taken by the Bears.
