I wonder who is right as NFL.com has Detroit 2-27 with a long of 22 which is what I thought I remembered and the Rams game 1-17.

Ugh. I hope this can be straightened out. It is a slow news day when I care about this issue being resolved.

It doesn't mean anything. What does mean something is that the memory of watching Joel running with the football and then Russ saying Wakefield was doing the same thing has kept me laughing all afternoon.

Old Cardinal games should be aired every Wednesday on the Comedy Channel.

I agree. I would watch. I haven't seen Al Del Greco highlights in a while.

Two high draft picks and FA acquisition on the o-line and improved playcalling and scheme could get us to at least mediocrity on the line by next year. Look no further than the Jets. Pete Kendall and Anthony Clement, two guys that for years were part of an absolutely horrific line, are the only two vets and are a part of a Top 10 offense. But I swear if our OC next season is some green playcaller brought in because we don't want to pay assistants then it won't matter what we do in the draft or free agency.

And the Jets are running the ball with a rookie RB (who I picked up in my fantasy team out of sheer desperation and lucked out when he exploded) who's a 4th round pick, 117th player their 2nd 4th rounder of the draft behind converted QB Brad Smith, that is of course Leon Washington.

The Jets have 3 vets on their OL, the oft mentioned Kendall who we all know sucks, Clement, and Brandon Moore the RG who I don't know a thing about other than he's in his 4th year. They added Ferguson and Mangold in the draft, got their QB back, and can suddenly run the ball too. Their OL coach is Tony Wise who was the guy fired by the Dolphins when Saban took over that everyone blamed for all the Dolphins OL problems. The assistant OL coach is... Mike Devlin, ex Arizona Cardinal(both player and coach). The Jets lost their veteran C Mawae this year and everyone predicted disaster but at least 7 games in that has not even remotely been the case.

Do I think we have 3 OL's on our roster as good as Kendall, Clement and Brandon Moore? We better, we cut 2 of those guys. So we just need to get our Ferguson and Mangold.
