Motion offenses are so hard to run. It helps if everyone has a high basketball I.Q. but that usually isn't the case, even in the NBA.

I have been very impressed with the way Jerry Sloan (Jazz) has been able to get a very very young team to play his offense. He proves that it CAN be done.

The hard part is to get the players to completely buy into the offense and be totally focused on helping the team rather than piling up stats. If it were just the x's and o's, then I'm sure good offensive movement would be the norm rather than the exception.
