Florio reports McFadden about to decide between us, Dolphins, Steelers and Eagles

The fact that there was no offer during the visit (which was five days ago) was reported by Somers. Others read it too...

There was a blog two days ago over at AZCardinals.com speculating as to whether he was getting an offer with Rosenhaus in town on Wednesday/Thursday:

The post quoting Mike Florio about the four offers was late last night on PFT. I would be happy to provide the link if you want, Gee. From now on, I will be certain to post links to every informational post that I make. I have been commended by numerous posters on the board this week for several solid posts (ie CardsFanMD and Shogun as well as others) but for some reason a few of you have laid into me and attacked me as being a liar who should be banned.

This guy is not being chased by anyone as a game-changer at CB. Getting all worked up about how important it is for us to sign him is more off-season overreaction, in my opinion.

It looks like McFadden might improve our usable depth at CB. Beyond that, nothing is certain.

Personally, I take this to mean he has 4 offers... he's not really satisfied with the money in any of those offers.. he has made a decision as to which offer he is going to take, but is hoping one of the other 3 teams that offered him a contract step up with more money.

I agree and theres still corners that are at the same talent level as McFadden still available. This is not a make or break signing.

We would be quite fortunate to land McFadden here in Az. At least we are one of 4 he is considering. Much better odds than one of the 28 teams he has dismissed already. Maybe Monday will bring us some good news concerning this. I like our odds at one in four.
