Cards had plenty of opportunity for Foles in the past.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FoleNi00.htm#all_404972924

Scroll to the bottom of the page to review his 'Trade' and 'Player News' History.

Now, he'll come with a price beyond a FA contract after being cut by the Rams and the Chiefs. Guess it is understandable that the Cards FO miss on a few QB evaluations---so just add this to the growing list of inaction duds.

He's a QB who didn't have the right playbook/surrounding players with the Rams and had a bad year with Jeff Fisher as a HC. Guess you have to really look hard to find the diamond in the coal.

Foles' perfection in this game was Warner-esque. Offer the #15 pick for him, see if the Eagles will take it.

No thanks for me. I would give up a third at most, he'll need a new contact if we gave up a first rounder for him. We would need some insurance for that pick, and he'll want starter money which starts at 18 mil a year. Nick Floes will not a super bowl....err another super bowl. :)

I wouldnt give up a first...even if it were a second it would have to be next years second.... and thats iffy...

Foles has only performed well in Philly, and even then only for short periods of time.

Just last year he was contemplating retirement because the breaks werent coming, so what happens when things get tough?

also...rumor has it Nick has a player option void clause in his contract...so he may not need to be traded for...food for thought

edit: never mind,...void clause is for next february

Roseman has done a fantastic job wheeling and dealing to build that team. If he deals Foles this off season it's going to be expensive. I could see them moving him at the deadline

Yeah... why move him until you at least see if Wentz is healthy? Especially if you don’t have to.

Foles just beat the Pat's in the Superbowl; he will want a raise and the eagles aren't gonna give him one. Also his trade value will never be higher. He will be moved and the price will be high. Foles will not be content without a pay raise and a starting QB job and going back to being backup on a team he just took to the Superbowl and outdueled Tom Brady in. QB needy teams will be after him Guarenteed

29. Cousins 29. Enough with other teams retreads. Get a young guy on a rookie contract that you can build a team around and win a championship.

I agree... the best we can hope for is that this spring sees a buzz of hope all over Ohio as the Browns make a deal to bring a young super bowl winning QB in to lead their team to the promised land.

And they’ll still want him at the trade deadline next year.

Unless they get blown away by an offer for him, I see no reason why they’d move him in the offseason.

Foles bested the GOAT in a SB... I would trade away our entire draft (Ditka-style) for a chance to have Nick.....It might be ridiculous, but far less ridiculous than trading your entire draft for a stoner RB.

Let's not forget that the Eagles have a pretty good Oline and that can make a QB look a lot better than one with a suspect Oline.

Foles would get huge support from Wildcat fans including many from the Phoenix area. He would be able to feed the ball to Fitz often.
