Cowherd, on his radio show today, also said that Wilson is best QB prospect to enter the NFL for the next 2 years. He kind of said the same thing alot of us have been saying about Barkley, good kid, good leader, average prospect. In fcat, he was lamenting on how bad the QB class, after Wilson, really is. I agree, although I have to re-visit Geno, I think the QB's are mostly all hype and all have major question marks.
Cowherd? He is an expert now? Ugh.

What makes no sense, in retrospect, is K9 suggesting he'd use a top 6 pick on Wilson.

This thread is from 2012 and then was bumped today with "Cowherd for the Win".

I have no idea what that means. Did Cowherd report on something regarding Wilson today? Did Wilson get hurt or cut???

Reading back heard said Wilson was the best qb coming out for the next two years. I think someone forgot the sarcasm font with their bump post.

Matt Barkley surrounded by 6-8 NFL players and a handful of 1-3 round picks against the Pac-10... Hm...

Tyler Wilson playing against the finest conference in college football in a second-tier program.

I wouldn't spend the #1 overall pick on Barkley or Tyler Wilson. I wouldn't give up a Pro Bowl corner and 2nd round pick for Tyler Wilson, either. Nor am I prepared to give Tyler Wilson a six-year, $60 million contract with $20 million coming in the first two years. I would spend the 14th overall pick on Tyler Wilson. I'd probably spend the 6th overall pick on Tyler Wilson and a contract that's going to be $20 million guaranteed over 4 years.

It's apples and oranges comparing Wilson and Kolb. I feel more confident in my (tentative) evaluation of Wilson than I am with Barkley.

We don't yet know what Barkley is, but we know what Wilson ain't:

AF - INC
K9 - 0

Do you really want to be keeping score? Because I think I have some points due on Kevin Kolb, Ryan Williams, Rob Housler, and a whole bunch of other dudes you fell in love with and abandoned only after the Cards did.

Are we giving points for estimations of Daryl washington's leadership? Do you REALLY want me digging back through threads for your predictions?

Haha I am comfortable and secure with my being wrong at times. Especially when it comes to Cardinal quarterbacks. No one seems to take that much happiness in bringing back old threads where I was wrong I guess. What does that say? :)

I think this is going to be a good year to draft a QB. Everyone knows about Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson & Landry Fields but guys like EJ Manuel, Geno Smith & Logan Thomas would really look good in a Cardinals uniform.

Nice!

I dunno.

The I told you so game is fun and stupid at the same time.

But, I will admit I was going to find the posts where I was vouching for King Dunlap who has played fairly well for the Chargers.

Got a heap of flack for suggesting that one.
