C J Anderson has been released and he won’t be the last. With an unusually deep RB group in the draft, teams short of cap space will be cutting a bunch of these guys.

ESPN's knuckleheads believe he's a potential late first-rounder.Any read on Sony Michael, RB from Georgia? Looks to have all the necessary tools (including pass blocking). Do you think he will be on the board for our 2nd 3rd pick?
Cards need to have a capable back similar to DJ and Michael might be a good choice.

I think drafting a running back in the 3rd round may be a real good idea.
1. It is a strong group, whereas the WR's available are mediocre
2. Most likely we wont have a functional qb for most of the season, so we should strongly base our offense on the running game.
3. We need a #2 RB badly
4. David Johnson at WR is likely better than any in the draft.
I am not in favor of signing CJ Anderson - he would be an OK backup, but I would much rather have a rookie RB on a rookie contract who potentially has a higher ceiling.

No he isn't a spell the lead back kinda RB he sucks out of the backfield and why keep using old RBs that are injury prone let's go younger at that position not older to many good young guys that are better then him at this point even thou unproven.Don't be surprised, after all is said, they bring Peterson back on the cheap.

There are also rumors of Ameer Abdullah being on the trading block. We all know that Keim likes him.
Rashard Penny is my favorite RB in the draft.
It's Michel not Michael btw.
Michel is one of the top ranked runners. Most have him late first or early second. I don’t see the Cards going RB that early unless they move down in the first and acquire an early second.
I think he has a similar style to DJ and would be a good back to spell him and keep the offense consistent in my opinion
Bring him in and we'll have our two cents worth at RB.
I could see him going to Pats.He seems most likely to sign an incentive ladened deal elsewhere. He wouldn’t make incentive money with the Cards unless DJ was injured.
