I know (thus the smileys), but we've been told in no uncertain terms that swearing is not allowed.

I don't mind...I just mind double-standards, because if it IS allowed, I'll swear like a soldier and a rugby player.

dude.... you just made That_guy mess himself.... The real Shaun King, who is also the best NFL QB in the past 50 years is clean and sober

I was always under the impression this board was trying to be PG , maybe PG-13. That cursing is frowned upon, but if it happens within a post (maybe a rage-filled post, i don't know) that it's not "ok" but it's more of a turn the other way, type deal.

But that's just my interpretation. I'd be interested to see the real explanation from a Mod, heh

As to the King interview.....

Does this really come as that much of a shocking revelatioin to many people.

Common marijuana use among pro athletes....or anyone, for that matter???

What cracked me up was his comment about how he had his girlfriend "loan" him some urine and he failed his test because he was found to be "pregnant"

I disagree with the non-swearing rule.

I think that sometimes especially after a loss swearing is necessary and appropriate.

I also think that some of the mods have taken things too far and have forgotten that this a football website. If you can't handle a little swearing maybe football isn't the sport for you, maybe polo or cricket might suit you better.

I would also appreciate it if I would get an explaination if one of my posts or thread is deleted.

I think it is bs that someone can just delete my post and not tell me why.
