Four-star wide receiver from New Orleans commits to LSU

LSU football received a commitment from four-star wide receiver Jabari Mack, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett, on Saturday.

The 2026 prospect is a native of New Orleans and chose his home state school over Texas, Texas A&M and Ohio State. According to On3's Industry Rankings, Mack is the No. 5 recruit in Louisiana and No. 11 at his position.

Mack is entering his final season of high school football at Destrehan. He was teammates with fellow pass catcher Phillip Wright III, who joined the Tigers in January as part of the 2025 class. Former LSU running back John Emery Jr. also attended Destrehan is also a Destrehan alum.

Mack's commitment puts LSU's 2026 class at first in the nation. He joins a group of nine players, seven of which hail from Louisiana. His announcement is the second of the week as five-star wideout Tristen Keys chose the Tigers on Wednesday.
