I expect better that 5 drives, 15 plays, -12 yards, 3 punts, and 2 ints.
That is not an unrealistic expectation.
Players thrust into bad situations are expected to do better than that.
QBs behind bad offensive lines are expected to do better than that.
Backups get cut for that.
Starters get replaced for that.
Kyler Murray crumpled under the pressure of the moment and highlighted pre-draft concerns that many had regarding him. He had another chance to step up and he failed...again.
[emoji23]. So dramatic. He is a rookie. Get over it and let’s see how he develops over the course of the season. If I see progress that's all I care about. If we get some wins along the way that's great.
This is coming from someone who wasn't high on him leading up to the draft.
