All money and all draft picks should be used on Offensive Lineman.... There is no way everyone we choose can suck..... Hire a good OL coach that has been in charge of a good OL......there must be a consensus #1 OL coach... find out who he is and open up the checkbook, pay the man..... We need to find this guy as soon as possible, that way he can grade out our current guys and figure out what we need to get a good OL...... This is nothing to put together last minute and hope it turns out.

Yes all the money will be used except for the 10-15 million they hold back as part of their goal to repeat as the most successful team at managing the salary cap for the 18 year in a row. And we thought the Braves were impressive!

We coulda' had him, he is in ATL now...

We couldn't have brought him in. None of our OL fit his mold of lineman. He likes small, quick OL we have big, slow OL. It wouldn't have been a good fit.

Neither really did Atlanta's when they hired gibbs, he completely remade that OL.

Wells probably is the only guy on our current OL that athletically could play that system though.

I just want to know who on our staff is responsible for evaluating guards? Who was it that said yes match Wells, sign Milford Brown, draft Deuce, draft Elton Brown, sign Monica? Either we suck at coaching guards or we can't evaluate them worth a damn. I still think Deuce can be a player I saw him dominate enough at USC to believe that but the fact that he can't play ahead of the other guys does concern me.

Jim Mora probably had a little more time than Denny and could re-mold his OL into waht Gibbs wants.Plus, I think DG's offensive system doesn't mesh with the small, quick OL.I'm not saying it's right, but it's hard to blame DG for that with all the offensive success he had in Minny.

You have to have talent, the best coaching in the world can't help our O line, if Max Starks becomes a FA we should pursue him, draft an OT like Sam Baker to play the right side and protect Leinart and draft Kyle Young in the 2nd round.

How about 7 draft picks next season on offensive lineman. That way we can pick the best 9 out of the one's on the roster this season and the 7 drafted. It's certainly worth considering.
