To tell you the truth, I don't think LeBron cares that much. He moved to LA because that is where he wants to live post-retirement. I don't think winning is highest on his agenda anymore.

I'm starting to believe the Lakers are just going to be an epic disaster next year and I can't wait to watch every second of it.

Well, he has plenty of entertainment already with the Lakers roster.

Last year, if the Cavs were in the West, based purely on winning percentage vs conferences... they don't make the playoffs.

Is this Laker team better than that Cavs team? It's a tough call. They probably have more depth but I'm not sure about overall talent. Their shooting is going to be wretched.

Luke Walton is going to come out of this season aging like a 2 term president.

I haven't been following the Laker saga but Beasley is not a big problem for them. He's never performed for any other team like he did for us - he hit all time lows in virtually every category on the Suns.

He's been generally awful his entire career. Sometimes it just gets disguised by the volume of shots he takes, here it got extra exposed because he was given free reign and was made the face of the team.

I'd be surprised if Harris gets more than $50 million next year over 4 years. There is no way he's getting a max offer. Next year more teams will have money but the quality of the class will be going up substantially. The only chance Harris was getting a big payday was taking something now. He won't even be in the top 5 forwards available next year.

I like Harris but it is a fair offer. I'd take the money and avoid the risk.

That's fair, but I think Harris has some good reasons to look to next season. For one, he's a great fit with the modern NBA as a plus three point shooter who can play both forward positions.

Also, there are a TON of teams who have cleared cap space for 2019. Several teams will miss out on the big names, and Harris is going to look mighty good as a consolation prize. All it takes is two teams with strong interest to drive up the price.

Last season, playing on two different teams, he shot over 40% from 3 while scoring nearly 20 points per game. Barring a catastrophic season, he should be able to get this or a better offer while being able to choose his situation.

Noel was entirely unproven, which is why betting on himself was so risky. I don't think Harris is a superstar or anything, but he's proven to be a really valuable NBA player.

The Beasley signing with LA is just meh to me. It's too bad the light bulb did not come on earlier for this guy. As physically talented a player as anyone in the NBA. Just his mindset limited what could have been a really good career.

As I said, I like Harris and he fits into the modern NBA. I thought the Clippers won the Blake Griffin trade (even if it were a straight up swap) so maybe he is looking towards the Griffin model to determine his value.

Perhaps I'm looking at it from my perspective instead of his. LOL
