Well that is a whole different conversation. My point is, now that we have made the trade for Paul, what moves have been made around the league that we should be criticized for not making (and the player would of chosen us over the team they chose).

You're missing the point. If the team continues to flounder, which it certainly will with its present roster, then in two years' time, Paul leaves, Booker asks out, Ayton leaves, and we're stuck with another 5-10 rebuild with our reputation around the league being worse than ever.

If the Suns were intent on moving Oubre they could have traded him for a first round pick, cleared salary, signed a power forward and kept Rubio.

That wouldn't move the needle more than getting Paul IMO. Two things win games in this league and that is talent and good preparation.

Paul makes us more talented at the PG position and helps us a lot with being prepared to win games.

It isn't enough currently to expect us to be a major threat in the West, but we are a better team right now than going that other route. Paul also has the potential to be even bigger if he gets Ayton to step up as well.

exactly. If you make that move, go all in. Otherwise it’s likely the move is primarily window dressing.

I think this was a Booker thing, but as you can see, letting a player dictate personnel moves is usually a recipe for failure. The exception would probably be Lebron, who seems to get the players he needs for success.

Didn’t see this one coming. Boston could of had Myles Turner in a sign and trade but got greedy and wanted Warren as well.

I think I'd rather pay Chris Paul 85 million for 2 years than make this 4 year deal for Hayward.

In a 72 games season I think this team is winning at a bare minimum 40. Only way 34 happens is if Paul is dealing with injury all year.
