why would Charlotte want to help out Boston?
It helps Charlotte too. If they don't send out salary they'll have to dump a player or waive and stretch Batum.

So the suns are at about 110 million of cap space used right now.
The luxury tax is I think 132
So, the odds of us signing Baynes is probably remote if we plan on keeping Dario and Carter.
Hate to say it, but other than some min deals our roster is probably set.
The most Saric and Carter should cost combined is $12 million. That gives us $10 million to play with.
That’s a reasonable contract.Seems reasonable.

What about the other 4 guys at the minimum we need to sign - they count towards the cap too don't they.
For $110 million, we already have:
Paul
Booker
Bridges
Crowder
Ayton
Payne
Okobo
Nader
Cam
Smith
Add Saric and Carter, and that should give us at least $10 million to fill two or three spots (assuming Saric gets no more than the MLE, which he shouldn't).

I'm just saying at this point with no known interest for Bayne, the most likely outcome is going to be us renouncing him.

Why? There's no point in doing that
Without better options the Suns need to bring Baynes back. Suns need a backup center behind Ayton.
Seems reasonable.

It depends. We still have at least a couple of holes on the roster to fill (specifically at least two of the following: insurance PG, back-up SG, back-up SF and beefier back-up big). It would help tremendously if we could get a capable back up who can play either the 1 and the 2 or the 2 and the 3.
That's what Jalen Smith is.
But yes it would be nice to get another big body for the dwight Howards of the league.
