So maybe SK decides Pharoh Cooper could fill that role?
Maybe. I think a guy like Moncrief is a good fit and would not cost a lot. He’s been stuck on a jaguars offence. He is an outside wr, fast and has good size.

That might be true, but his pass blocking efficiency was the best of any LT in the playoffs.

He was a REALLY good RT before SF moved on from him. Von Miller called him the best RT he has faced or something to that effect. He's what? 25 years old? Sign him to a 5 year, 65 million dollar deal. DJ Humphries inability to stay healthy is destroying the offensive line. Wait to cut Humphries until later in camp so he can get healthy and then he isn't cut for injury :p
Brown was successful due in large part to Brady getting the ball out of his hand near the fastest, if not the fastest, of all NFL QBs. I'm not saying he is terrible, but he is a guy who has gone on record saying that he doesn't fee like he needs to study film. Buyer beware.

Couldn't agree more. We saw the exact same thing in FA with Nate Solder last year. Tom Brady makes his left tackle look better than he is.

Kudos to Brown for cashing in on his success with the Patriots.

The Cardinals have more money this off-season so they may not necessarily wait if they find someone they like.

They don't always wait I think Veldheer and Iupati were day 1 signers.
Not really knocking them. I just think it’s fiscally responsible to spend 50% of your salary cap on 5 players. It’s going to be interesting because we really don’t know what kind of players this staff is looking for that fit this system. I also think Kiem is going to TRY and take advantage of the waiver wire advantage.

Sounds like multiple sources are saying Cardinals will be spending early and often.

However, it seems unlikely we could get Saffold, Mosely, and Suggs. So, someone must be off track but love the rumors so far.
With 45 million in cap you absolutely could.... question is would they?

a starving leopard must move
I get it. But I really don’t think we are going to blow 40% of our remaining cap space on 1 player. There will be some players cut and we have the waiver wire advantage. Kiem will exploit that thus we are going to be somewhat frustrated here in free agency.

big signings on day one does not equate to overpaying for the top FA available.

I predict no imminent signings today. We will let the big boys sign and set the market. We won’t even inquire for guys like Trent Brown, tyrell Williams, Justin Houston type players. Mosely and Saffold would be awesome but I don’t think that’s going to happen either. Think connections. Randall Cobb I believe will be a Cardinal. Brandon Marshall( lb) will be a Cardinal( I won’t be happy). Have we ever made a splash on day one? Not that I can remember.
The Brandon Marshall possibility is tied to Vance Joseph connection when he was coaching in Denver.

I thought FA was two more day away...

It is Good players can negotiate with teams setting the parameters for contracts that they will sign in two days... Basically handshake deals

Technically it does, but teams can talk to agents and negotiate deals, they can't meet with players or announce signings until Wednesday though.

Oh they are already announcing plain as day

Technically no. These are all word of mouth reports most likely from the agents who leaked it to a reporter. You won't see anything formal from the team.
