Could not pay Chase that much.

But I don't really want pay Conner 8 million a year either, so that will put us in a pretty bad shape at that position if we wiff on draft picks.

Yeah, the bucks were too big for him. Plus, as a lot of folks on here like to say, RBs are a dime a dozen. He was a nice player, no doubt, but he also has durability issues. No problem letting him go at that price.
DVontel is a bit ambiguous sometimes

Liked Chase but not surprised the Cards didn't seem sold enough to spend the money. He got 12 plus over 2 years from Miami.

Hope he does well for them
I loved Edmonds as a change of pace but I question his durability long term. Hence why I predicted the Cards would keep JC and move on from Edmonds.

No. He is a posession reciever on the downside of his career that will take way to much money to sign.

We need to draft recievers, or sign up and comers in FA.
