I think you guys are off on that.

You load up offensively and he'll be at his best.

Even the 2nd Rams games where he threw picks was one of the better games against that defense down the stretch. Vikings game he seemed ready to role as well.

I think pressure comes when he knows they arent an explosive team and he has to methodically march down the field consistently.

Bengals turned it on when they just let Burrow go with his high flying weapons.

Its like asking Steph Curry to be a pure pg in the half court instead of firing up 3's in a fast break offense. Cuffing him wont get the best of him.
This completely

Yes, load up offensively on the O line. WR is secondary. Can't hit a WR when your on your ass or running around 20 yards behind the LOS.
If I were GM.... I wouldn't let Jerry Jones off the phone until we had a deal for collins..Collins... then Zion Johnson in the first round. WR in the second, raw edge talent in the third.
Collins and Johnson quite possibly give us the best line in the nfl

Completely disagree. I think you are living in the past.

you win with weapons not blockers.

Imagine being a Vikings fan… Just extending Cousins for another year at 35 million fully guaranteed. That’s 2 more years minimum of zero hope.

So we are essentially just running it back with the possible additions of Calais and Reddick and subtractions of CJ, Kirk and Hicks? If so, this would be the Keimiest off-season of all-time.

Reddick is a plus over CJ, Calais will more than make up the loss of Hicks, and Kirk can be replaced easy enough, IF they structure/restructure/extend contracts so they can do it.
Is there talk of CC coming back to AZ? I haven't seen anything.

No one beyond this board has seriously discussed a return of Calais.

And how exactly would the return of Reddick replacing the ultra-expensive CJ be anything but a good thing?

...Reddick will likely not be cheap so my guess is that the contracts will be close to a wash. Hopefully Reddick will have a repeat of 2020 since he will be playing a different position than he did with Carolina in 2021.

He will make our defense faster though...so that seems like it would be the silver lining. Also might prevent Keim from taking advantage of a nice EDGE class which would be dumb.

I think you are living in "Bengals just got the the SB with 3 good WR's and now everyone needs 3 good WRs to get to the superbowl" land. It's a bit wordy for postcards I admit.

Need I remind you the Rams won the Superbowl with no run game, OBJ carted off in Q2 and Kupp, Brycen Hopkins, Van Jefferson and Ben Skowronek at WR. And Stafford still out passed Burrow and his much better WR's.

This idea that you need a Bengals type WR corp to be good is fantasy.

You win from the trenches. As the Rams did. That's never going to change.

3rd or 4th round pick for Barkley? He is on 5th year option at 7m/year.

This might mean that Za'Darius Smith will be available. Missed most of 2021 with an injury he sustained in week 1 but came back to play in GB's last game. He is a double digit sack guy and 29.

Didn't he sign a massive extension with the Giants already? So whoever trades for him will take his giant contract as well, not just the 5th year option, don't they?

Is this the end of the Smith brother's run in Green Bay?
