I doubt JJ left because he was in Whiz' doghouse. He played more and more. My guess is it stem from JJ probably feeling underused in his time here in AZ. JJ was a nice compliment, but far from the end of the world.

McFadden doesn't tickle me. We need front 7 help MUCH more than a starting corner.

Agree. Has anyone found anything a little more concrete other than the article stating he "might make" his first visit here? That statement seemed to be completely speculation.

I have no idea how legit this site is and I can't even read the whole article because it's a subscription service......but they're saying that two Steelers are coming to visit tomorrow and one is McFadden.

Ravens sign CB Dominique Foxworth. 4 years 28 mil, 16.5 mil guaranteed. Wonder how this affects other CB's dollar wise.

Probably sets the market for McFadden. He's a Drew guy though he'll probably want slightly more than that.

Redskins have finally ran out of money. They canceled Chris Cantys flight to Washington.

LB - Michael Boley visiting with Giants first.

DT - Rocky Bernard rumor to also be visiting Giants first.

TE - Winslow trade to Tampa Bay. No picks announced yet but I think it takes them out of a race to get get Boldin since they wont have as many draft picks. Thats if we were to go down that route with Boldin.

DE - Marques Douglas - Cut from the Ravens.

CB - Foxworth - Signs with Ravens for 4 years 28 mill and 16 mill gauranteed.

Is Douglas any good?

At this point I'd just like to see us get Kurt in, get McFadden, redo the Dansby deal.. and then tie up the lose ends and make decisions about Q, Berry, Okeafor, and James

The Niners start their awesome improvment process with FB - Morran Norris.

Buckhalter and JJ for the Broncos... Hmmm that seems to say a lot of the teams upcoming offensive philosophy. The two are pretty similar players with Buckhalter getting the edge so far.

Looks like McFadden will be coming in on Sunday. Sunday by the way will be the first day Cards start bringing in outside free agents for visits. According to multiple sources, Urban, Sommers, Sportingnews and a Pitt web site you need to pay for that I got a buddy to tell me the info since he has access. Forgot to ask him what other player the teaser sentence to get you to pay for the site was talking about. Someone posted a link a page or two ago. I am thinking one of the many free agent OL they have probably.

Vrabel from the Pats is in KC right now taking a physical as part of a trade between the two teams.

Here is the Steelers list, minus Kemo, Starks as a FA, and Colon has a high tag. I think McHugh signed as well.

Fernando Bryant CB UFA Steelers
Willie Colon OT RFA Steelers
Paul Ernster P UFA Steelers
Trai Essex OT UFA Steelers
Keyaron Fox ILB UFA Steelers
Andre Frazier OLB UFA Steelers
Arnold Harrison OLB RFA Steelers
Chris Kemoeatu OG UFA Steelers
Byron Leftwich QB UFA Steelers
Anthony Madison CB RFA Steelers
Bryant McFadden CB UFA Steelers
Sean McHugh TE RFA Steelers
Orpheus Roye DE UFA Steelers
Marvel Smith OT UFA Steelers
Anthony Smith S RFA Steelers
Max Starks OT UFA Steelers
Nate Washington WR UFA Steelers

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Essex. He's a solid pass protector but a weak run blocker. Fox, Frazier and Harrison were all just special teams guys, as was Madison for the most part. McHugh is more FB than TE and Anthony Smith is a hard hitting safety who can't cover. Starks was franchised.

Anyone else think it might be Marvel Smith. I'm sure Grimm likes the guy and he's got to be a cheap contract given his back issues. With an entire season on the shelf he should finally be healthy.

That was my first thought. Has some ties to AZ (Played for Wiz and Grimm and played at ASU).

I am also thinking of someone on the cheaper side, at least someone cheaper then Marvel. I to was thinking McHugh, Essex or Kendall Simmons(who was actually cut).

For all you Derrick Ward fans. His agent called us and we told him "no thanks". According to Somers blog.
