It's funny that Michael Bidwill's supposed initial choice for a GM is a part of that dumpster fire. I don't even think I sign a superstar ILB for that kind of coin.

The big money FA signs somehow just doesn't work as good in the NFL as they are in the NBA. My guess is football players rely on schemes and coachng much more than basketball players.

Patriots owe JC Jackson a prorated portion of $1.5M salary and can cut him after this year with no dead cap money. And if he's going to turn it around anywhere, going back to New England is prabably the best place. Pretty brilliant move from a risk/reward standpoint.
