Working in our favor is (a) the natural inclination for our players to avoid having to learn new terminology and schemes in a brief period of time with a new team and (b) a similar concern by the Cardinals about teaching newbies new schemes and terminology.

I agree with Ron Wolfley - that we'll probably see a lot of one and two-year FA contracts, with the Cardinals' priority signing Steve, Lyle, Deuce & Alan.

I also agree with the CW that there will be a lot of quick snap-decisions by players and teams and that the signings will come fast & furious.

We will lose Deuce--he is still stewing over last offseason-- and Branch after getting punked by Whis and Co. way too often... I They'll be able re-sign Breaston and Lyle though...

As for Deuce, it is my understanding he has a great relationship with the coaches. He is only angry about the contract issue. The weight issue getting out the Cards tried to keep a in house, Deuce is actually angry with the guy who leaked it, Jurecki. Deuce refuses to talk to him still, I think.
