Free Xbox one games in September 2014

Super Time Force is the game of the month for xbox gold users. They again have "extended" a title from last month as the second game. This should only happen until a larger catalog is built to give more games away but is annoying for now. Last months titles were both complete garbage in my opinion, I am going to delete them from my xbox. didnt enjoy either one even a little bit.

Warframe also came out yesterday, it is a free to play shooter game. Downloaded it but havent tried it yet.

Warframe was free to play via PS4 at launch. My son likes the game. It is pretty cool for a free game. Wouldn't pay for it.

Halo Spartan Assault was ok.

I really enjoyed Guacemelee & Max: Curse of Brotherhood.

I really didn't like Crimson Dragon, Super Time Force or Strike Suit Zero.

I'm hoping they'll eventually bring over the Walking Dead arcade series & even "The Wolf Among Us".

Instead we'll probably get Zoo Tycoon, Fighter Within or Ryse: Son of Rome next month.

I just got on my Xbox One to check out Warframe & saw that they're having a Free Forza 5 Weekend.

I don't know what this really means, but it's letting me download Forza 5 right now... maybe we can play it as much as we want this weekend & then it stops working unless you buy it?

I had all 5 episodes of the Walking Dead Season 1 and it was really good (got them on sale for $2 each). I held off on Season 2 hoping it would eventually be on the Xbox One. The Wolf Among Us is made by the same group with the same style of play (Episode 1 was free) and it was pretty good too.

I agree on the games. My daughter beat Max and I watched it was cool but i cant play it after seeing most of the game. I beat guacamelee, had a great time playing it. Halo is OK, I cant get into it. I havent tried time force yet but the two flight games were terrible IMO. Dragging the old games into the new month is dissapointing but I agree, its a library issue and will go away over time.

I wouldnt mind getting Ryse, have zero interest in fighter within or zoo tycoon.

I played the first 3 episodes of walking dead, its awesome. Stopped playing at one point and havent went back but it was a very very entertaining game and is already confirmed to come to xbone. Never tried the wolf game.

I bought the sale too. I should pick it back up but im already backlogged with my limited gaming time. Since our new baby was born my gaming time is down even more as my wife is really bored by the time I get home and doesnt want to watch me play games.

Due to an agreement between Activision and Sony, Microsoft is prohibited from advertising for the biggest game of the year, "Destiny".

This is their way around it. They are offering any free game, without restrictions, if you happen to buy an XBOX ONE the week Destiny comes out.

They are also advertising a Destiny fragrance to get around the ban.

so ive beaten 3 sections of super time force and think the game is superb. Once you get used to it as it is a very new concept of playing style, the game is a ton of fun.

Lol my buddy did the same thing. Once you rewind you go again and your ghost still goes so two of you are on the screen. At times I've had over 20 guys fighting at once

There are 1 minute boss batted that take like ten minutes from rewinding and adding more and more attackers until you are doing enough damage to win.

It took a second to get used to but once I figured it out I think its a solid concept and game
