Crosby plays with absolutely no other threats on that D line. He's double teamed all the time and still gets double digit sacks.

Garrett is a beast and likely the best DE in the league but he's always had other good players on that line. Za'Darius Smith, Clowney, Vernon, Richardson, Ogunjobi, Ogbah etc. Maxx hasn't had nearly the same supporting cast.

Top 3 DE for me behind Garrett and Watt.
Do not agree...

Hutch, Garrett, Bosa, Watt, Parsons are better.

At the same level as him. Hunter, Mack, Hendrickson, Anderson Jr. and perhaps even Verse.

That would make him 6th at best. 12th at worst in my book.

That is still great, but IMO there is quite the gap between Garrett and Crosby

I agree somewhat with this. Problem is for Cleveland, if he wants to go to Super Bowl contending team, those picks are going to be pretty far down the list — 30-32. That, in my opinion, is why Cleveland is saying they won’t trade him. They’d be looking for 2 firsts, a 2nd and a 3rd from a Super Bowl bound team. They might take 2 firsts from a team, say the Cardinals, likely to be in the middle of the pack come draft day. He’s a super player and would help out a lot, but would it make sense to give up 2 firsts. Don’t know. The draft is always a crap shoot.
1. The trade price for a quality player is always much lower than you would expect.
2. The 16th pick is worth so so much more than a pick from the Chiefs, Lions etc. There is basicly no difference between 16th and 2x32th. So the Cardinals' price would be 16th and a 3rd compared to 2x1st from the Chiefs.
3. Browns would like to send him to the NFC. Discussions have already been happening between Monti and the Browns. That is confirmed and ESPN even put out a breaking news during the season that Cardinals traded for him - that they later retracted.
4. Question is, if Garrett would be happy to come to AZ. There is a personal relationship with Kyler. It's a team trending up and with the biggest need at his exact position. Is that enough?

If it is just picks, my guess is a 1st (either this year or next year), and second in the opposite year of the 1st, and then a 3rd or 4th (maybe something coming back if it is a 3rd).

If I am the Browns, I am trading Garrett for a 2025 2nd and a 2026 1st and 3rd (if I can get it) because it opens up more teams for bidding. Also because they should probably trade down from #2 this year, and having 2 or 3 1st round picks this year is less valuable for that franchise.
