#40 Never Forget
Didn't pass thier physicals...the Cards signed a DT and another TE...Can't remember thier names but noone I've heard of...MJ was ripping DG on bringing in all these nobodies....
Jurecki needs to check himself. Seems to me he should be bumped as a sideline reporter. The Cardinals broadcasts usually include people that can be at least partial homers.Jttsaz said:Didn't pass thier physicals...the Cards signed a DT and another TE...Can't remember thier names but noone I've heard of...MJ was ripping DG on bringing in all these nobodies....

MJ said that the Cards didn't bring DG in to go 4-12...Mac and Co. could have done that..he also said that the Cards as they were after the draft weren't that far off from being competitive...and that DG has taken this team 2 steps backwards...Lewis didn't seem to mind the moves saying that Parcells did the same thing turning the Pats around...Mulli808 said:Jurecki needs to check himself. Plus, any day now he will flat out say that the Cardinals should have kept the previous staff. He is already intimating that he feels that way.

I don't believe you need to paint a rosey picture all the time but the guy is just non stop negative.....I can understand him being upset, you know swinging on Coach Mac's jock like he did all the time, but seriously, give it a rest MJ!
Can anyone remember the last time he provided any real "insider" info? Me either.
Think it's time to move on MJ.

He has never come out and said he dislikes Green, but he has been super critical in his reports of Green, while with McGinnis he pretty much agreed and supported every move the guy ever made. If Coac Mac farted, Jurecki was right there to say it smelled like roses......Mulli808 said:When did he ever say that? I have always heard him say he understood and agreed with firing McGinnis.
That was just my take on his babbling on and on about his dislike of Green's methods.

We can now walk proudly in public again.....
Gotta love those mandatory urine samples!

Cards Continue with Roster Moves
The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that the team has signed defensive tackle John Nix to the 53-man roster and also has added tight end Bobby Blizzard and offensive tackle Jim Newton to the practice squad.
Nix (6-1, 313) was originally drafted by Dallas in the seventh round of the 2001 draft (240th selection). Appearing in 30 games for the Cowboys during the 2001-2002 seasons, Nix recorded 43 tackles (25 solo) and three forced fumbles. Waived by Dallas during the 2003 preseason, Nix was claimed and waived five days later by the San Francisco 49ers. He signed with the Cleveland Browns on December 23, 2003 and was allocated to the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe. In Amsterdam Nix posted 21 tackles and two sacks. He was released by Cleveland on September 5 on the cutdown to 53.
The 6-4, 272-pound Blizzard was signed by Pittsburgh this past spring as an undrafted rookie free agent out of North Carolina. The Hampton, VA native originally started his collegiate career at Kentucky, appearing in 21 games with 30 pass receptions for 275 yards. During his two-year stay in Chapel Hill, Blizzard added 48 receptions for 600 yards and six touchdowns in 20 contests. He was released by the Steelers on August 29.
Newton (6-9, 297) was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Indianapolis on May 5, 2003. Moving between the active roster and practice squad throughout the 2003 season, Newton saw action in three games primarily on special teams. He was released by the Colts on August 25.
In addition defensive tackle Eddie Freeman and cornerback Derek Ross, both claimed off waivers on Monday, did not pass their physicals and will not be joining the team.
Nix will wear jersey number 64 while recently acquired tackle Jeremy Bridges has been assigned #73.
Capital Card said:DT John Nix looks like another one of Clancy Prendergast's boys.
He spent 2001 & 2002 with the Cowboys, but it doesn't look like he got much game time. NFL.com says he was with the Browns last year, but it doesn't look like he was active for any games.
14 career solo tackles with 3 forced fumbles is a nice ratio though....
Go Cards!!!

swd1974 said:you know for Prendergast to be picking up guys he sat on the bench in dallas he must not think much of our guys.
Basically saying the bench on dallas is better than our starters. Could it be true?
