i don't really get why they put this show on another network. what channel are the episodes on? I also wonder if the show is getting good ratings on this network and iff people will watch the season on NBC.

Its on DirecTV only right now the T101 channel. I am sure its not getting great ratings but if its the only way the show can stay on the air so be it.

yeah - right now it's only on DTV on the 101 - i don't mind because I have DTV and the program is still running

i know people who will pick it up again in february when it starts it's NBC run - i think it will still be fairly fresh to most - rating are decent for what it is right now (a specialty program on an off channel for a satelite subscription service)

i just hope people don't get turned off by the first episode or two as they did shift the program a little bit and filled in some blanks with the way last year wound down

once it gets running though it's been really good

I downloaded all of FNL from ON Demand, and am all caught up.

GREAT season so far. I like JD McCoy, and I like the way they've kept Matt relevant too. Matt has a ton of heart, and the storyline played into that.

Previews for next week though...YIKES!!!

Jumbotron is hilarious. Love it.

JD's dad is uberdouchey. Ugh.

I love Buddy...he went from such an unlikeable guy to totally loveable in the course of these three seasons...excellent job. His hippie kids were obnoxious...and when he threw those steaks my stomach hurt. I wanted some corn-fed, organic Nebraska beef, damnit!

Street is so smooth, yet so stupid at the same time. Guy can sell ice to an Eskimo, but he hasn't ever heard of making appointments or calling ahead of time? He's so fly by the seat of his chair that it is maddening.

Did I mention that I like JD? A lot.

Riggins is still a major reason why I watch. They are going to really have to introduce some good new characters besides JD to make up for the loss of Matt and Tim next season.

4 episodes left this year...

Great episode. Good for Matt!!

What was the significance of Tim putting his shoes out there on the field in the endzone?

I will miss this show when it goes dark for the season...bring it back, DirecTV!!!!!!

So is this the 3rd season? I know both Linda and I wanted to start watching this, but I'm hoping on a DVD set containing the entire series down the road.

I think it was Tims closure to high school and moving forward...I guess lol
It was a great ending I won't spoilt it for the NBC audience but I loved the season. I'm watching it again. They have to keep this show going

good first episode i hought. I felt bad for matt with that new quaterback though. I guess something good happens to him at the end though so thats good. good to see Riggens do well. I also like it how the coach didnt give up on smash so easily and he still cares about him even after hes off teh team. Best show of all time! Also will be interesting to see what happens with Lyla and Tim.

What a great ending.

I love Tim...he's a stud. His complaining about college and books was the stuff of legend.

Coach T will wipe Dillon's ass if he has to go to E. Dillon.

I thought for sure Buddy would have stood up for coach Taylor after all that the coach has done for him.
They did not play up any of the underclassmen other than JD and the coaches daughter. Almost seems like the show is over.

i think they gave options for next year

i too am surprised by how silent buddy was

this is how i see this going though - they wrapped up a lot of the characters and had coach stepping into a new challenge with his wife by his side leaving it up to our imaginations to determine the future

or they could have a really good season 4 - would tami continue to be the principle at dillon? .... how would that play out with the new athletics direction (remembering her earlier fight over funding differences and obvious loyalty issues) ..... would julie stay at dillon or transfer to east dillon? ........ you still have the matt, julie, grandma angle ...... i'm sure you'll hear from the riggins boys again ...... with buddy being solid the #2 booster for dillon does his pride get in the way and does he strengthen his ties with coach and be the #1 guy for east dillon? ..... how about drawing the district lines - how will all that shake out ........ also having a new school allows them to introduce new players ...... plus the development of JD McCoy and his intense father would be entertaining as well

they can do a ton from where they left it or do nothing at all
