FSN ARIZONA ADDS AN ALTERNATE CHANNEL TO ENSURE IT CAN TELEVISE BOTH SUNS/SPURS GAME #3 & D-BACKS/PADRES AT THE SAME TIME ON FRIDAY
FSN Arizona is once again delivering the most comprehensive coverage of your local teams by announcing today that it will add “FSN Arizona PLUS” to ensure it can televise this Friday’s highly anticipated Game #3 of the Phoenix Suns/San Antonio Spurs NBA Playoff series and the hottest team in Major League Baseball when the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the San Diego Padres on the very same night.

The network and its cable and satellite providers have teamed up to create a special channel called FSN Arizona PLUS in order to televise both games at the same time and deliver more coverage than any other sports network in Arizona and New Mexico. With the D-backs game starting at 7 p.m. and the Suns Live pre-game show also beginning at 7 p.m., FSN Arizona finalized FSN Arizona Plus today in order to bring its viewers live coverage of two of the most entertaining teams in sports.

The Suns & Spurs game will air on the regular FSN Arizona channel location in High Definition, while the D-backs and Padres match-up will be available on FSN Arizona Plus.

The D-backs/Padres telecast has been offered to all of FSN Arizona’s cable and satellite partners on FSN Arizona PLUS. FSN Arizona is currently working with all the systems to add this game to their lineup and once the channel location for each system is determined, they will be released.

For the D-backs/Padres telecast, there will be no pre or post-game show.

“FSN Arizona is committed to delivering the most comprehensive coverage of our teams to the great sports fans of the southwest,” said Mike Connelly, FSN Arizona Senior Vice President & General Manager. The creation of FSN Arizona PLUS is another example of the commitment we have to our viewers, our team partners and the communities we serve. I would like to thank each of our cable and satellite systems who will help make this special night become a reality.”

FSN Arizona televises the most regional sports action in the state and is the exclusive cable television home of the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona Rattlers and Phoenix Mercury. The network is currently seen in 2.8 million households in Arizona & New Mexico and can also be seen across the country via home satellite services.

Did you read the article you posted? It's from last year. I have Comcast but those that have Cox does not mean they won't get it.

Honestly didn't read the date. Just Googled "FSN Plus" or something.

Can't find anything else online and I was on the phone with the Cox Digital cable services at the time who had no answer for the channel number.

Silly me.
