seriously - I believe it's hazardous to your mental health.

The only reason I'm calm (and can't WAIT to see DG's post-game presser) is because I can watch this team with one of my best friends and brother. Seriously, when there's someone else there to feel your pain, you can't help but look at each other, nod, smile and then eventually after the steam runs out of your ears, burst out laughing.

I truly am sorry to all those fans who watch the Cardinals alone. Seriously, find a Cardinal buddy - it always makes things easier.

I make my wife watch, and now I know why. It just almost becomes funny while making your jaw clentch so hard you are worried about damaging teeth.

OMG - both Ouchie and I are almost in tears over that comment.

Amen, I watch alone (wife's in bed, but I have a pillow she gave me called "Lil Mr Screamer" because god help me if I wake her up, she's 110lbs of tiny fury) and being able to talk out what I'm feeling on this board helps me calm down.

At first I felt just as awful as everyone else, but my cat and my walls have all survived the night unscathed and I'd like to think it's because I can chat it out with you all.

Thanks board!

It was just on ESPN, Short and not so sweet. Denny stuttered and muttered then punched the podium and walked off.
All I can say is its about time. Hes been glad handing everyone and fooling himself for over two years, maybe now he'll put down his ego and get to work.

I took my best friend from college and she just doesnt understand how it feels to watch your beloved team lose in the fashion that they do. I sat in my chair after the game with a blank stare on my face, and she kept bugging me to leave.

I was like, "HELLO WOMAN, do you NOT KNOW ME?" Needless to say I couldnt wait to come home and post on ASFN because I knew there would be people who understood what I was going through. I couldnt wait though so as soon as I got out of the stadium I called Assface and poured my frustration out on him. He's a trooper.

So yes, friends shouldnt let friends watch the Cardinals alone!

I dont know what Id do without this board.

Me, too. I was stuck at work for 6 hours following the loss and was so depressed I was non-productive as hell( and I'm a workaholic). I jumped on the board as soon as I got home; reading posts by everyone here has started to stabalize me at least.

Anybody have a link yet to the presser?

The presser is usually at 10 or 11 in the morning. I usually do a recap, but this week, I wont be able to do a full recap, unless I get a break from the all day meetings.
