Funny conversation with Sutton

Forgot to pass this story along, Darron Sutton is a funny guy.

I was at the ASU UofA basketball game in Tempe when Sutton walked by, I flagged him down and asked him where gracie was. he motioned with his hands that Gracie was probably drinking

Then we started talking and I asked him if he ever saw this video where Grace was cursing on air about how bad Chris Snyder was, he interrupted me and said "that happens way more than you would think".

I said "seriously though how much does Gracie hate Snyder". He obviously didn't want to answer that but simply said "I dont think he will have to deal with him much longer because I think he will get traded sooner rather than later"

Really funny guy, if you ever get a chance to talk to Sutton either at ASU hoops games or at Chase Field, do it.

I dont really care for Sutton as an announcer, but he does seem like he'd be a fun guy to talk with/hang out with. Im sure he's right about announcers bashing players in the booth, Gracie just forgot to hit the cough button.

I myself got to meet Uecker when I worked on a TV commercial last Spring Training for TBS that he appeared in. In the commercial Uecker is wearing a glove and has to catch a ball thats tossed to him and then deliver a line. I was the one who had to toss the ball into frame for him, and it was a pretty tricky through, I had to toss it over a camera, between some lights and right onto a spot, needless to say I had a few errant tosses. And Ucker just laid into me "Jesus you throw like a ***" "whats Americas youth coming to" and stuff like that, it was great.

Sutton spoke to us at a Sports Business Association meeting during the fall semester. He does seem like a cool guy.

you're in SBA? i was in it last year but have been way too busy with rushing. I will for sure be in there next year.

I was for the first semester, but I haven't been able to attend because of work...need to make that money. :-/ I might next year...
