Yeah I know what he brings. He can manage a game or two and deliver at least 1 W. I"ve said that pretty consistently. My point was that's not what this team needs at this point. We move on to Gabbert or on from him.

Oh. My bad.

I don’t think he can get one win with this team. When we had a good team he could steal a w. Now? No way.

We're DEFINITELY giving the Niners their first and only win if the entire season after the bye.

Y'all KNOW that's coming.

Not gonna happen fellas get over it. We all know BA is set in his ways, the Wizenhunt way ugh

Never fear, one of two things is going to happen. Either Stanton will ride this pony to the PO's or he'll stink it up enough that eventually BA will be forced to play Gabbert. Book it.

The boo's at home will eventually force BA's hand.

BA is a stubborn jackass who will waste 9 games playing Stanton instead of seeing what Gabbert can do.

Yeah, after saying earlier this year that he didn't want to leave the QB cupboard bare when he retires. Well that was before the draft...and guess what? No QB was drafted. So, Keim brought in Gabbert instead...and Gabbert clearly had a good pre-season, much better than Stanton's...but now that Gabbert could have a chance, BA is sticking with Stanton. Makes no sense, as usual, from BA.

Pretty sure we will see Gabbert this year. Stanton most likely won't last the season.. Not that I'm wishing anything bad on him.. The O-line won't allow him to survive.

Or he will get yanked for poor performance.

If you look at the talent on offense, which is David Johnson. We need a offense which runs the ball and need a QB like I don't know? AJ McCarron, and focus our draft on the trenches. You use that first draft pick on a difference maker up front on defense and go OL in the following rounds in my opinion... but we will never know because Arians will not alter his offense next year and he will not allow himself to see if Gabbert is the game manager we would need to pull this off

Right. This is when we actually had a defense. Now? It's going to be a nightmare. I won't be surprised to see us lose to the niners. This team sucks and our head coach refuses to hold his assistants accountable.

AJ MCCARRON?!

And you were one of the people telling people here to self ban themselves for a year last week? Lol.

I think his performance would have to be beyond horrific for BA to pull his boy... Who's the emergency QB? PP21? He'd prolly see the field before Gabbert.

Is it really possible that, as the captain of a sinking ship (think The Titanic), BA is unwilling to do what’s needed to help this team move forward and at least see what they’ve got in Gabbert? Wow. And I used to think he was one of the league’s best coaches. But in thinking back to 2014, the whole Ryan Lindley mess was eerily similar: BASK could have brought in someone w/NFL-level talent (after injuries to Palmer & Stanton) and refused. Sadly, BA is systematically destroying his once-solid reputation (and in an expedient manner). Hard to watch this sad, sorry train wreck.

He definitely could have tried to get someone better than the worst QB of all time after Palmer got injured.

Ugh. I love BA, but it may be time for him to go. Hire Josh McDaniel and trade for Garrapolo.

yep ... good thinking ... hire another washed up has been or never was... don't find out what you have right in front of you... fits right in with the Cards MO... god, I am so sick of this... what ? you think the QB whisperer will turn 1 of those two into the next Brady ? .... get rid of BA and THEN cive Gabbert a chance ...

Dude... RELAX. I'm with you on wanting Gabbert, but that still means the season has gone completely down the crapper.

And the other line is from Pretty In Pink!

Like I said... time to switch to Sabka...

sorry ... I'm 65, I have seen Pretty In Pink (and actually liked it, I like all that crap) but I certainly wouldn't recognize the quote and should have know better, from your other posts here, that that was sarcasm..

apologies extended to you ... \

(but not to Keim, BA and his staff and the mgmt enabling this band of losers) :pullhair:
