havn't seen a thread on this guy. Man, what a player. I was in the north endzone and had a great angle at watching our d-line absolutely dominate the steelers. And Watson was simply beautiful out there. Branch isn't going to be starting this year at all. No way, no how. I think Watson may be playing his way to Honolulu. He was an impenetrable rock wall yesterday.

I'd like to see Branch and Watson on the field together at the same time....somebody would get hurt.

Dockett gives credit for his current play to Watson.

I said it from game 1 when I saw him chase down running backs 20 yards across the field from quarter #1 to Quarter #4 that he is my new favorite player on the D. Sorry Wilson but I just like front line players more.

Branch needs to come in soon though. The big man Watson cannot last a whole season playing as much as he is. Just cant happen for any big man.

Branch needs to be out there on run downs with Watson.

Smith/Branch/Watson/Dockett
Pace/Hayes/Dansby
Rolle/Francisco/Wilson/Green

...that might be my "obvious run-down" package. (Rolle because despite his deficiencies in coverage, he's a helluva tackler and Berry is out because I don't think he puts his heart into stopping the run).

NT is a collision position. We're going to need both Watson and Branch during the course of a 16 game season (and, frankly, I wouldn't mind adding a 3rd quality space-eater in the off season).

Watson has been amazing... I saw him make a play yesterday that blew my mind...
It was on a delay/draw... There was what appeared to be a HUGE hole right up the middle for Parker to sprint through.
Out of nowhere at the last minute, Gabe crashed in and got an arm on Parker's leg to drop him for a 3 yard gain, when it appeared he was ready to go for much, much more...
Awesome play! There were a bunch of Steeler fans in my section. One of them, who was actually a pretty decent guy who clearly knew his football, talked about that play for the rest of the game!

Watson is a stud. Branch coming in to give him a breather every so often will only make him that much more of a monster.

And it is nice to see D-Dock credit Gabe too. With the disruption those two guys are causing, our LBs and AW should be shooting in on delayed blitzes a lot more often.

Just want to bump this again. Watson is a BEAST!

Do you know our YPC up the middle? 2.98! That's #2 in the NFL.

quite frankly, this team's run defense is UNBELIEVABLY impressive and has made me look like a complete and utter fool for doubting them thus far this season... and I'm loving every second of it!

I give tons of credit to the new coaching staff. These are mostly the same guys out there, just put in better positions!

But Gabe has been awesome. I have never seen a guy that big play so hard. He is all over the field.

Give a lot of credit to Lott. He has got this team in SHAPE, kids. In shape...they are more physical than everyone they go up against, and they've gone up against two of the most physical teams in the league.

Gabe dropped a lot of weight and now can MOVE out there...and boy does he.

Lott has got these guys' minds right!
