I'm not a Torey hater but Counsell is on the last year of his contract. I would love to see him come here. He is a great teacher and would be great here, especially with the youth we have here. I remember when he was playing here, he was so smart on the field. I told my wife he was going to be an MLB manager someday. What do you guys think?




As much as I like the idea, it is likely not to happen. He is a very grounded family man and his kids are all in sports in that area.

He has two sons, Brady and Jack, who will be playing college baseball in the Big Ten this upcoming season. Brady will be a junior at Minnesota and Jack a freshman at Michigan.
