Trust me; I bet Steve is tired of talking about the WC; he's not dumb, he realizes this is not a WC team but yeah it's coming from the top down. They may be able to sell that to unintelligent fans, but anyone who knows baseball and this team knows this is a team that is a few years away from being a legit WC team.

You're right. Which is why I said that Fox Sports Arizona (his employer) is paying him to promote the D-backs.

But, as much as I have enjoyed and supported Steve, I am getting bored by his repeated routines.

Such as sarcastically pronouncing the names of opponents such as DJ LeMahieu (who played for the Cubs, then Rockies, now Yankees).

Of course, I would still take Steve over Daron Sutton and his abusive Abbott & Costello "I'm a bad boy!" routine with Mark Grace anytime.

But there comes a time to switch out the stale routines.
