What a shock...neither Walker NOR Kelly in the line-up. Another case-in-point as to why I do not like Lovullo as manager.

When asked if he'd like to see Lamb and Walker in the lineup together, Lovullo said not at this time.

I don't like that decision either.

Today's batting order for Game 3 is basically the same as it was yesterday.

I guess that is the platoon vs. a righty at this time.

Has Godley learned to throw the ball to a base?

The correct answer is NO!

Unless he barehands and shuffles a toss for a force out at the plate. Which he just did.

On the other hand, Godley still has the bases full. And a 2-run single makes it 3-1 Dodgers. And now it's 4-1. And now it's 5-1. Three straight RBI hits for L.A.

Godley's Gotta Go! He is not a Major League pitcher.

He’s always been able to throw it to home plate.

I've been unimpressed with him since he's been here. When hes bad it's really freaking bad. Why wasn't Buckholz brought back? Thought it was a big mistake

And, true to form, Lovullo leaves Godley in too long (and inexplicably has him bat for himself in the top of the 6th), and then compounds his mistake by bringing in the worst possible reliever to try to get out of Godley's mess. Game over, as a result.

I even asked myself why the hell is Godley batting....sadly after it was 5-1 Torey is ready for bed. I asked earlier does anyone know why they didn't even try getting Buckholz back?
